Un problema “reale” per capire la fisica
Tacking a Real World Problem for Understanding Physics. Scientific knowledge is a complex game aimed at constructing a representation of reality characterised by specific questions, languages, ways of operating. Acquiring scientific knowledge therefore involves the ability of thinking and operating within a representation of reality, sometimes rather far from the one we use in everyday life. The present paper shows how a real world problem can become an interesting tool for understanding Physics. In particular, an example of real world problem and the context in which it can become a rich and stimulating opportunity for fostering metaknowledge processes will be discussed. The importance of metaknowledge processes and their cultural and cognitive implications will be stressed. The study described in this paper is part of the author’s dissertation thesis in Physics.
