Modello d’occhio che accomoda
In a model for demonstrating the function of an eye, a plastic sphere filled with water represents the ocular globe. Inside the sphere, a liquid lens is arranged in the path of a beam of light between a circular window serving as cornea and a semitransparent surface on the opposite side serving as substitute retina. In order to show the accommodation, the power of the liquid lens can be varied by altering its shape.
