Misurare la velocità tramite l’effetto Doppler

Velocities are measured through the interference of waves of slightly different frequencies due to the Doppler effect. The experiment is performed with mechanical (ultrasound) and electromagnetic (laser light) waves. The ultrasound results are compared with velocities measured in an independent way. Laser light results are compared with the characteristic velocities of similar objects.
