Il laboratorio Elettricità-Luce al liceo “Quadri” di Vicenza
This article describes a laboratory activity undertaken by a group of students in the final year of a scientific high school. The main goals were to clarify the relationship between the microscopic models and macroscopic aspects of electrical properties of matter and to examine the effectiveness of teaching based on guided inquiry. The RTL experiments address the transition from classical to semiclassical models proposed to explain the current and its effects like heating and light emission. (For this activity, G. Fera and D. Merlin won AIF’s ‘Antonella Bastai Prat’ Prize in 2015).
