Cogli l’attimo fuggente nell’induzione magnetica

Transient phenomena in electromagnetic induction are usualy very ‘fleeting’. An on-line data acquisition system, with the opportunity of triggering the start of measurement, allows the visualization of a wide range of phenomena, a check of theoretical predictions on them and the storage of data for further processing. The experiments which are here described have been performed by means of a graphic calculator TI92, a CBL interface with a voltage sensor, a Vernier magnetic field sensor and with the use of the software ‘Physics’ by Vernier. Other on-line systems could be used as well, with some adjustment on the given prescriptions.
