Apparecchiatura, costruita in laboratorio scolastico, per la determinazione della costante di Planck tramite l’effetto fotoelettrico
We built a cheap apparatus for measuring Planck’s constant through the photoelectric effect. The measurements are performed in the usual way: for each wavelength of the incident light the maximum energy of the photoelectrons is found by stopping them with an electric potential. The apparatus was tested with 18-19 year-old pupils in an optional physics course in the last year of secondary school. The measurements gave satisfactory results.
