Allestimento di una piccola stazione meteorologica dotata di psicrometro on-line
A simple meteorological station, connected on-line to a personal computer, was used by first-year students of physics at the University of Bologna. It gave the students the opportunity to: (i) work with an example of a technologically up-to-date system for data acquisition, (ii) calibrate its sensors and (iii) process the experimental data with spread-sheets in order to perform simple analyses of weather conditions. A similar activity was also successfully carried out by students in a secondary school of Bologna. For this system we designed and built a new psychrometer suitable for on-line data acquisition and unattended operation. In this paper we describe the design and give the information necessary to duplicate the system.
