A Caccia di Spettri II. Atomi, Stelle e Colori
Home-made spectrometers, presented in the previous work, can be used to perform experiments that address some relevant and engaging topics in Physics. In this paper we will first show some accurate measurements of the spectral lines of discrete spectra, enabling us to accurately determine the Rydberg constant and the wavelength separation of sodium. Next, the features of continuous spectra will be observed, and finally, experiments aimed at highlighting the capability of materials to absorb or transmit radiation will be presented.
